Why was my account downgraded?

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) mandated a new KYC update policy that required all account holders to revalidate their BVN/NIN. Your account may have been downgraded because you were unable to successfully revalidate your IDs before the deadline (1st March 2024).
