I used to receive a ₦50 charge when getting money. Why has this changed?

This is due to a change in the law. The old Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) was charged to the recipient. The new Stamp Duty regulations have shifted this responsibility to the sender. You now pay when you send, and you no longer pay when you receive.
